For 2011, see Mitsubishi Eclipse only minor changes. A new GS manual transmission model will be launched six months. Model Overview
The Eclipse comes as a GS, GS Sport or GT in either Coupe or Spyder configurations. GS and GS Sports features a 2.4L MIVEC 4-cylinder engine that makes 162 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. GT ups that to a 3.8L MIVEC V6 producing 265 hp and 262 pounds-ft of torque. GS comes with a 4-speed automatic gearbox, but a 5-speed manual is available, the GT has a standard 5-speed Track Tronic, driver-selectable automatic or an optional 6-speed manual.
