Specialist distributor of Isuzu UTE ute Australia celebrates the revelation of the new generation Isuzu D-MAX, which recently launched in the Thai market.
First seen globally in the launch of Thailand in Bangkok, the disclosure of all new Isuzu D-MAX has introduced an exciting new model lineup of the new generation of 1 ton of public services.
As a model of production, design and specifications are indicative of what the bid when the product arrives on Australian shores next year. Time for the launch of Australia has not yet been set, but scheduled for the second quarter of 2012.
As a completely new generation vehicle, the Isuzu D-MAX design and forms design pieces from the current model and previously associated competitors.
IUA New Managing Director, Mr. Yasuhiro Takeuchi said the news of the new generation D-MAX represents the arrival of an exciting new chapter of the UIA and the Isuzu D-MAX mark.

"I am sure that this vehicle will be welcomed by the Australian market and the height of the fundamental values that the Isuzu D-MAX is synonymous with durability, reliability and economy."
Exterior and interior highlights
The exterior lines, complemented by stylish and modern and bulkier new aggressive stance on the road. The larger exterior dimensions allow a considerable increase in the interior space to raise levels of occupant comfort and improved access to rear seats in the crew and models of space in the cabin.
A script complements the stylish and contemporary interior design. Functional enhancements include increased stowage areas. A new audio system with portable music player connectivity and Bluetooth ®.
Powertrain improvements
Power and torque has improved both technological sophistication and renowned Isuzu 3.0L diesel power plants. The update inline 4-cylinder diesel engine offers maximum torque output of 380 Nm and peak power output of 130 kW. The pair is delivered through a flat curve through a vast majority of the revolutions of power to help manageability and ease of making the trailer.
As you would expect from an Isuzu diesel engine, offers exceptional fuel economy, even with the increased power and torque outputs.
An automatic transmission of all the new offers of a gearshift map through five speeds. This joins the 5-speed manual in the range.
Chassis Development
A ladder frame chassis of new development in the D-MAX is based on the engineering achievements of the class-leading platform. It has a rigid design with the best reinforcement cross in the back, and improve stability, while both loaded and towing time. It also ensures long term durability when used regularly in hostile environments.
A basis of length greater than the wheel of the current 3050mm to 3095mm ute body is now standard across the line of vehicles.
Focus on safety
With a growing importance in the safety of the occupants, the new D-MAX has focused on this area as a priority.
New side airbags that deploy from the side to strengthen the front bucket seats protect the driver and passengers of the chest region of the lateral impact forces. It also includes side curtain airbags to protect occupants even more of these situations. A driver and front passenger the system completes the range of airbags offered as standard.
Electronic Stability Control is also fitted as standard.
Emergency assistance and new brakes Anti-lock Brake System is designed to detect an emergency braking situation during the application of the brakes hard. These systems work together to stop the vehicle without locking the wheels and help the stability. Electronic Brake Distribution helps to detect more payload weight and the modulation of the breaking force back to compensate.
The range of models and exact prices for the Australian market has not yet been finalized, but the UIA can confirm that the range of models are offered with single space, and body double cab options.
